INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police are working a North Illinois Street shooting that resulted in the death of Charles Ray, 53, who was found in a house in the 3500 block there just before 9 p.m. Sept. 24.
An unidentified man reported to police that he walked into the residence and saw a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police are still trying to identify suspects and would like anyone with potential information to call IMPD homicide detectives at 327-3475 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 262-8477. Callers may also text INDYCS plus tip information to 274627.
