BROWNSBURG —
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a north side drug store early Wednesday morning investigating reports of an armed robbery.
According to FOX59, our news gathering partners, dispatchers received a call of an armed robbery at the CVS Pharmacy at West 86th Street and Ditch Road around 1 a.m.
Police said two men robbed the store at gunpoint, then fled by jumping out of a pharmacy window and driving away in a pickup truck.
Officers searching for the suspects located them near West 79th Street and Harcout Road, about a mile south of the store.
Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, but it sped off, leading police on a chase that weaved across the north side of Indianapolis and ended in Hendricks County near West 56th Street and Raceway Road.
Two suspects inside the vehicle were taken into custody.
