Police snare two in Little Caesar’s robbery

AVON — Two Indianapolis men were arrested Tuesday in connection with a Jan. 26 armed robbery of the Little Caesar’s Pizza restaurant in Avon.

Police identified the suspect as Rameil Pitamber, 17, a Ben Davis High School student. Investigators say Derrek Berryhill, 18, an employee of the restaurant, is a known associate of Pitamber and was involved in the robbery.

Both men are being held at the Hendricks County Jail in Danville, as Pitamber was charged as an adult today in Hendricks Circuit Court.

Pitamber was charged with one count of armed robbery, one count of theft, and four counts of criminal confinement with a deadly weapon.

Berryhill was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit theft.
