Devon’s Blessings to hold charity lunch

Devon’s Blessings, a non-profit charitable organization created to help and assist struggling teens in need be it through food, clothing, medical assistance, paying for their GED, or to provide scholarships, will host a Pig in a Poke Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 16 at Dawsons Too, 773 E. Main St., Brownsburg.

A Pig in a Poke auction is the purchasing of something without first seeing it. The brunch will include Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas.

The cost to attend the event is $20 per person and tickets are limited. All donations are tax deductible.

For the youthful Warriors, the contest was tough lesson. The Cadets turned on their bats and junior pitcher Kellie Mink turned up the heat on the Warriors’ hitters as the Cadets cut short Covenant’s season with a 23-0 win in five innings.
