Angi Lyon of Plainfield and Scott Thompson of Vincennes are planning a July wedding on Okaloosa Island, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

The bride is the daughter of Dan Lyon of Plainfield and Suzie Freeman of Pittsboro. She graduated from JP McCaskey High School in 1989 and Ball State University in 2009. She is a nurse practitioner at Hendricks Regional Health.

The groom is the son of John Thompson of Vincennes and Deb Palmer, also of Vincennes. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1988 and Vincennes University in 1993. He works at Allison Transmission.

The couple plan on traveling to the U.S. Virgin Islands for their honeymoon.
