Barbara Whiteman and Matthew Durrett, both of Indianapolis, were married July 2 at Spindltop Hall in Lexington, Ky., with Dr. James M. Mahoney officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Tim Whiteman and Jan Whiteman of Danville. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Vincennes in 1998; Butler University in 2002; and Saint Louis Universityin ‘04. She works as a speech-language pathologist at Family Development Services-Head Start in Indianapolis.

The groom is the son of Greg Durrett and Jackie Durrett of Crestview Hills, Ky., and Nancy Kern and David Kern of Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills, Ky., in 2000; the University ofKentucky in ‘05; and IUPUI in ‘08. He is the state coordinator for National History Day in Indiana at the Indiana Historical Society in Indianapolis.

Carolyn Wells, sister of bride, served as honor attendant. Bridal attendants were Tricia Fletcher, Melissa Stewart, Tracy Durrett, and Kristi Herald.

The best man was Brandon Griffith, a friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jon Mast, Ben Wells, Justin Jarboe, and Matt Herald.

Julie Roberts was the vocalist. Rachel Testa was the greeter. Michael Testa and Andrew Testa served as ushers.

The honeymoon consisted of a Mediterranean cruise with stops in Italy, Turkey, and Greece.

Mr. and Mrs. Durrett are now residing in Indianapolis.
