Marks-Rodocker wedding

Lisa Evans Marks and Jason Lee Rodocker were married June 19 in an outdoor ceremony at House Mountain Inn in Lexington, Va., with Burr Datz officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Sally Marks and Joe Borden and Bill Marks of Seattle, Wash. She is a graduate of Bucknell University and earned a master’s degree from George Washington University. She is a study abroad advisor for the International Studies Office of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va.

The groom is the son of Jim and Brenda Rodocker of Mooresville. He is a graduate of Avon High School, Hanover College, and Indiana University with a law degree and master’s degree of higher education. He is director of Elrod University Commons & Campus Activities at Washington & Lee University in Lexington.

Julie Marks served as honor attendant with Whitney Borden, Lori Shelley, Kelly Holmes, and Emily Yoder as bridal attendants. The best man was Kevin Shelley and groomsmen were Neil Dishman, Tony Cullela, Byron Hayes, and Josh Williamson. Ring bearers were Austin Shelley and Dylan Shelley. Ushers were Dustin Smith, Hunter Rackley, and Brian Wagers. Greeters were Laura Romah, Elena Lumby, and Emily Parent.

A reading was given by Sarah Baht and Mary Jenkins.

There was a cocktail hour at the pavilion and a reception inside the inn.

Following a honeymoon in Greece, the couple will reside in Fishersville, Va.
