Leah Michelle Thornberry of Camby and Brandon William Wagler of Plainfield were married July 16 in Indianapolis by Aaron Thomas, the groom’s best friend.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Paula Thornberry of Camby. She is a 2002 graduate of Decatur Central High School and a ‘07 graduate of IUPUI with a degree in elementary education. She is a first-grade teacher at Thompson Crossing Elementary School in Franklin Township.
The groom is the son of Garry and Karen Wagler of Plainfield. He is a 1998 graduate of Plainfield High School and a 2003 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in social studies secondary education. He is a social studies teacher at Avon High School and an eighth-grade football coach and varsity assistant baseball coach at the school.
Cara Munger, cousin of the bride, served as honor attendant. The best man was Scott Warriner, best friend of the groom.
The wedding and reception was at the Historical Union Station in downtown Indianapolis.
Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple is residing in Plainfield.
