Crusaders bump Cadets from postseason
CLAYTON — The Cascade Cadets softball team hoped it was destined to go far in the 2013 IHSAA state tournament after a special 22-1 regular season, capped by two more wins and a sectional title. But, the Cadets fell behind early and were unable to make up enough ground against Scecina pitcher Michelle Rogers as the Class 2A, No. 17-ranked Crusaders defeated No. 3-rated Cascade 5-2 in regional action Tuesday night at Cascade High School.
