County girls’ tennis players end season at regional
CARMEL — Inclement weather forced the individual girls’ singles and doubles tennis regional tournament inside Saturday morning. Avon singles player Grace Langford and Brownsburg’s doubles team of Emily Doehrman and Shelby Hornback all played their matches at the Carmel Racquet Club Saturday instead of at Carmel High School.

BLOOMINGTON — The Avon Orioles and Plainfield Quakers sent several members of their respective squads to the 110th Annual Boys State Track and Field finals at Indiana University’s Robert C. Haugh Track and Field Complex last night.

Plainfield, Tri-West ready for state run
Two Hendricks County teams have risen above the rest in the 2012-13 softball postseason as the defending Class 4A state champion Plainfield Quakers and the Class 3A Tri-West Bruins each have advanced to semistate action today in southern Indiana.
