Medicare 101 will be offered from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Hendricks County Senior Center in Danville.
Participants will receive an overview of the basics of Medicare A, B, and D, as well as an overview of the Medicare Supplement plans (Medigap) and the Advantage plans.
There will be a question and answer time.
The program will be presented by Jan Faker, director of constituent services for Sen. Dan Coats; Twyla Stech, regional coordinator for SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program); and Sandra Carrasquillo from Easy Street Insurance.
Registration is requested and may be made by calling Hendricks County Senior Services at 745-4303.
The open enrollment period for Medicare is Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.
