DANVILLE —
Hendricks County Senior Services sponsors a Parkinson’s Support Group, designed specifically for persons with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers. The group will meet at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 13 at the Hendricks County Senior Center in Danville.
Hendricks County Senior Services offers the service to help support those who are living with Parkinson’s and those who care for Parkinson’s patients. Participants in support groups receive emotional support, practical assistance in coping with the problems they face, and the latest information about research.
All meetings are confidential and free of charge. The group is led by Shane Summers, director of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and sports medicine at Hendricks Regional Health.
