Winter weather affects some graduation dates
The severe winter weather and storms that struck most of the state have impacted yet another facet of life for some county residents. This time, the weather’s backlash has changed the date some graduating seniors will receive their diplomas.

The Brownsburg Community School Corporation (BCSC) will offer full-day kindergarten for the 2011-12 school year.

Hendricks County schools make 4-star list
The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) has released the list of 2009-10 Four Star Schools and five Hendricks County school corporations made the list. Avon, Brownsburg, Mill Creek, North West Hendricks, and Plainfield school corporations are included in the more than 10 percent of public schools in the state that have been named.
