Caitlin Bernhart of Avon was recently selected as one of Butler University’s Top 100 Outstanding Students for the 2009-10 academic year.
Eligible junior and senior students were nominated at the beginning of the school year by Butler faculty, staff, and fellow students. The selection process is administered by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and the Office of Alumni and Parent Programs.
Since 1961, the program has honored students who, through campus leadership, community involvement, and academic performance are great assets to the university. The Top 100 students will be honored at a banquet on April 9, where the Top 10 Men, Top 10 Women, and Most Outstanding Man and Woman will be announced.
Bernhart is a junior at Butler University and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Alpha Lambda Delta Academic Fraternity, Sigma Alpha Iota, Alpha Chi Omega, Blue Key Club, and Butler’s Honors Program. She is a 2007 graduate of Avon High School.
