Brownsburg student
receives honor
Joseph Micheal Derrick of Brownsburg has been selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
The society recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved superior academic excellence. Membership in NSHSS entitles qualified students to enjoy a variety of benefits, including scholarship opportunities, academic competitions, free events, member-only resources, publications, participation in programs offered by education partners, online forums, personalized recognition items, and publicity honors.

Benjamin J. Meyer of Plainfield recently graduated from the Indiana University Medical School. Meyer has been accepted by the University of Chicago, where he will undergo a residency in radiology.
He is a 2001 graduate of Plainfield High School, and is the son of Douglas W. and Jane E. Meyer.
