PLAINFIELD — Jenna Jarvis of Plainfield was recently inducted into the Alpha Sigma chapter of Phi Upsilon Omicron, a national collegiate honorary organization for Family and Consumer Sciences. To qualify for membership, an undergraduate must excel in the areas of scholarship, leadership, community service, and integrity. Jarvis is dietetics major at Ball State University, where she is on the dean’s list and serves as vice president of the BSU Dietetics Association. Jarvis is a 2009 graduate of Plainfield High School. She is the daughter of Jerry and Joan Jarvis of Plainfield.
