Janevee "Jenny" Walker of Danville died Wednesday at the age of 71.

Born June 22, 1939, in Newland, N.C., she was a daughter of Luther P. and Alta Hampton Buchanan. She married Donald L. Walker and he died on March 23, 1996.

Mrs. Walker was a homemaker.

Survivors include sons Dan Walker of Oklahoma, Alby Walker of Danville, and Tom Walker of Plainfield; a daughter, Janeen Missi of North Carolina; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers Marvin Buchanan of Plainfield, Cramer Buchanan of Texas, and Bennie Buchanan of Ohio; and sisters Emma Bailey of California and Diana Crouch of Martinsville.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Glenda Epple.

Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville with the Rev. Ray Dixon officiating. Inurnment will be at Stilesville Cemetery.

Calling at the funeral home is for an hour prior to the service.
