— Donald K. Kennedy of Plainfield died Sunday at the age of 77.
Born Nov. 13, 1935, in Indianapolis, he was a son of Kenneth and Leah Bryant Kennedy. He married Ruby Sutton and she died in 2002.
Mr. Kennedy worked 36 years at R T Moore Company, retiring in 2008 as the warehouse manager.
He was a member of the Plainfield Eagles No. 3207, Marshall Federated Church, and a former member of the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating.
Survivors include sons Randy (Judy) Kennedy, Jeff (Tammy) Kennedy, and Richard (Theresa) Kennedy; a brother, William Kennedy; grandchildren Jarrod, Katie, Leah, Mandy, Samantha, Dustin, Kourtney, Jordan, and Maddy; and a great-grandson, Coen.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Raymond Eugene Kennedy.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
