— Alda C. Robison of Plainfield died Monday. She was 83.
Mrs. Robison worked 29 years as a bookkeeper at several local businesses, ending her career at C&E Affiliated Stores with retirement in 1993.
She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church, a member and Past Worthy Matron of Plainfield Order of Eastern Star 414, and a lifetime member of Plainfield American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include daughters Laverne C. Whitmore and husband Steve and Vonda D. Ashley and husband Jim; a sister, Edna Cothron; seven nieces and four nephews; and a neighbor and friend, Jill Gee.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg. Interment will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.
Calling at the mortuary is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
