Stephen E. Pauley of Brownsburg died March 15. He was 64.

He was a son of Mary Jane Richey and husband Bill and Harold E. Pauley and wife Thelma.

Mr. Pauley was a retired truck driver from Teamsters Local 135.

He was a member of the Brownsburg American Legion and a former reserve for the Brownsburg Fire Territory.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl (Williams) Pauley; daughters Heather Bennett and husband Russ and Alicia Pauley; brothers Chuck Richey, Randy Richey, Hal Pauley, and Andy Pauley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherri and Greg Medaris, Donna Hanshew, Linda and Ronnie Stanfill, and Evie and Mike Ray; several nieces, nephews, friends, aunts, and an uncle.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Marsha Eland.

Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg. Interment will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.

Calling at the mortuary is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
