Michael Warnock of Avon died Sept. 4. He was 65.
Born Jan. 12, 1945, he was the son of Mervin and Ada (Small) Warnock. He married Sharyn (Kaestner) Warnock and she survives.
Mr. Warnock was employed by the Community Home Health Center as a consultant. He was a lifelong resident of the westside of Indianapolis and graduated from Danville Community High School in 1963. He received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and his master’s degree from Butler University.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Chad (Michelle) Warnock of Mooresville and Dean Warnock of Avon; a sister, Melody Boise of Renseler; nieces, Courtney and Heather Boise; a nephew, Cory Long; and grandchildren, Erica and Austin Warnock.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marilyn Dale Warnock.
He was a member of the Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church and belonged to the Danville 118 American Legion where he served as a National Guard.
Services are 2 p.m. Sept. 8 at Weaver and Randolph Funeral Home in Danville. Interment will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery in Danville.
