— Thomas Price of Plainfield died Sept. 4. He was 67.
Born Dec. 1, 1944 in Rhinelander, Wis., he was a son of the late Lawrence and Myrtle (Sparks) Price.
Mr. Price graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1963 and Northland College in '67. After completing a year at Drake Law School, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and became a counter intelligence agent serving in the Vietnam War. Following his military career, he pursued his entrepreneurial dreams and started a business in which he and two other partners owned and operated many restaurants throughout the Midwest.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Camilla D. Price; a daughter, Leslie Lamkin and husbant Tom; a son, Jeffery Price and wife Monica; a sister, Jackie Merrick and husband Earl; and a brother, Jerry Price.
Preceding him in death were siblings Carol Vlahakis (Price) and Bob Price.
A private celebration of his life will be held by family.
