Ronald D. Bowen of Plainfield died Sunday. He was 67.
Born Aug. 16, 1945, in Stratton, Colo., he was a son of the late L.D. and Myrtle (Quintin) Bowen.
Mr. Bowen was a U.S. Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War. He worked 30 years as a truck driver for Ruan Transportation in Indianapolis before retiring in 2004.
He was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church and was dedicated to lifelong service to missions.
Survivors include daughters Christina Kelso and Stephanie (Josh) Nelson; brothers Maynard, Lloyd and Roy Bowen; and sisters Mary Reich and Martha Johnson.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Donna Irene Bowen, and brothers Aaron, Raymond, and Joseph Bowen.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Oct. 30 at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment will be at Clayton Cemetery.
Calling at the funeral home is from 3 to 8 p.m. Oct. 29.
