Eileen Freitag of Avon died Tuesday in St. Vincent Hospital. She was 74.
Born Aug. 16, 1937, in Liverpool, England, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anne (Babs) Cunningham.
Mrs. Freitag was a homemaker and had worked in the family restaurant, Avon Lunch (Brownies) for 25 years. She also was a beautician at Three Dimensions from 1988 to 2006.
Survivors include her former husband of 22 years, Henry Freitag; sons Edward (Tracy) and Michael Freitag; daughter Debra (Rusty) Goodpaster; brother Eddie Cunningham; sister Teresa Weston; grandchildren Brittany, Anthony (Nikki), Matthew (Ashley) Goodpaster, John David (Christian), and Loy and Tara Mitchell; and great-grandchildren Braylee, Avery, Braden, Dane, and Kaden.
Services are 1 p.m. July 7 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call for two hours prior to services. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
