Russell A. Robbins Jr. of Pittsboro died Thursday in Hendricks Regional Health. He was 71.
Born Sept. 30, 1941, he was the son of the late Russell A. Robbins and Martha K. (Wereneke) Robbins.
Mr. Robbins worked for Allison Gas Turbine and was a member of the Indiana National Guard and St. Malachy Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Shannon L. Robbins, Janalyn S. Robbins, and Shawnna Thomas, all of Pittsboro; a son, Jason S. Robbins of La Porte, Ind.; a sister, Ann Jones of Greenwood; a brother, Donald Robbins of Lancaster County, Pa.; and two grandsons, Russell “Rusty” and Austin Thomas.
He also was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Marilyn E. (Hoff) Robbins.
Services are 10 a.m. Nov. 5 at David A. Hall Mortuary, 220 N. Maple St., Pittsboro, where visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Nov. 4. Burial will be in Saint Malachy West Catholic Cemetery in Pittsboro.
Memorials may be made to Saint Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg.
