Rita Lou Parrish died Tuesday at her Plainfield home. She was 82.
Born May 18, 1930, in South Bend, she was a daughter of the late Robert F. and Amy (Detamore) Greenwood.
Mrs. Parrish retired from Public Service of Indiana in Plainfield where she had worked in the data entry department.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield. She enjoyed cooking and reading.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Garold "Buck" Parrish; sons Robert E. Parrish of Bloomington and Gary L. Parrish of Mooresville; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were sons Michael W. Parrish and Roger W. Parrish; brothers Tom Greenwood and James Greenwood; and a sister, Joan Chambers.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 N. Montgomery St., Spencer. Interment will follow at Meadows Church Cemetery in Heltonville.
Calling at the funeral home is for three hours prior to the service.
