Raymond Dallas Reynolds died Thursday in Brownsburg. He was 89 and had formerly resided in Fountain City.
Born May 31, 1923, in Fountain City, he was a son of the late Roscoe and Pearl Anderson Reynolds. He married the former Genevieve Robbins on Aug. 15, 1954, and she survives.
Mr. Reynolds was a 1943 graduate of The Indiana School for the Deaf. He worked 55 years for the Joseph Hill Co. in Richmond.
He was a 60-year member of the Richmond Deaf Club.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Robin Mader of Brownsburg; grandchildren Josh (Lindsay) Cain, Darryl (Nichole) Cain, Cody Mader, and Austin Mader; great-grandchildren Addison Cain, Darryl Cain II, and Brooklynn Cain; a brother, Floyd Reynolds of Richmond; a sister-in-law, Maxine Reynolds of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Edna Luteran, and a brother, Vierl Reynolds.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at the Smith & McQuiston Funeral Home, 321 U.S. 27 South, Fountain City. Interment will follow at Willow Grove Cemetery.
Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
