Paul David “Dave” Lynch of Danville died Dec. 19 at his residence. He was 72.
Born Oct. 4, 1937, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Paul Daniel and Mary Margaret May Lynch. He married Peggy J. Rief on Oct. 2, 1960, at Danville Christian Church. She survives.
Mr. Lynch worked for General Motors for 48 years retiring in 2006. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Danville American Legion Post 118, Plainfield Eagles Lodge 3207, and the Amo Conservation Bird Dog Club.
Additional survivors include daughters, Kimberly (Ron) Friar, Tammy (Steve Knotts) Bradley, Shannon (Tom) Molloy; brothers, Tom, Jerry, Mike, Danny, Jimmy, and Jack Lynch; sisters, Sandra Chapman and Jan Etherington; grandchildren, Lindsay, Andrea and Tyler Bradley, Mitchell Molloy; and great-granddaughter, Tessa Bradley.
A celebration of life service will take place at 7 p.m. Dec. 28 at Baker Funeral Home in Danville.
Calling will be from 3 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
