Carolyn Wren Larkin of Plainfield died Saturday at Plainfield Healthcare Center. She was 85.
Born Sept. 20, 1924, in New Ross, she was a daughter of the late George S. and Ozella Miller Wren. She married Robert G. Larkin on Sept. 23, 1945, at the First Christian Church in Greencastle, and he survives.
Mrs. Larkin graduated from Greencastle High School in 1942 and attended Indiana University in Bloomington.
She was a member of Plainfield Tri-Kappa and Plainfield Christian Church.
Additional survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas R. and Ruth Larkin; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Larkin and Mike Thomas; grandchildren Amber Larkin, Andrew Larkin, Kelly Thomas, Carrie Thomas, and Casey Thomas.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Plainfield Christian Church. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield.
