Martin J. (Joe) Sechrest of Indianapolis, in Hendricks County, died Friday. He was 48.
Born July 22, 1961, he was a son of the late Martin C. and Madge Sechrest.
Mr. Sechrest worked several years as a medical transcriptionist for St. Vincent Hospital.
Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law Marta and Brad Greene, Mona Sechrest, Marcia and Harry Darnell, and Mara and Larry Gividen; a niece, Kasey Darnell; a nephew, Jared Darnell; and aunts Lois Burger and Mary Ann Scott.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Maple Hill Cemetery chapel.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield.
