William C. Beal of Plainfield died Nov. 3. He was 65.
Born Dec. 6, 1943, he was a son of Norman and Gotherine (Williams) Beal.
Mr. Beal was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War as a staff sergeant in the 101st Airborne Unit.
He worked as a mail transporter for the U.S. Postal Service.
Mr. Beal was a member of the Hazelwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, of Memphis, Tenn.; daughters and sons-in-law, Debbi and Chuck Mann of Tacoma, Wash., Cathy and John Swinger of Tacoma, Wash., and Gabrielle Beal of Brazil; sons Donnie Beal and Justin Beal, both of Spokane, Wash.; a sister, Ann Leonard of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; a brother, Rickey Beal of Ridgely, Tenn.; a close friend, Karen Beal of Plainfield; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services and calling were Nov. 5 at Hazelwood Baptist Church. Interment was at Center Valley Cemetery in Clayton.
Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home in Danville handled arrangements.
