Benjamin David Ferris died Sunday at his Fillmore home. He was 36.
Born May 31, 1973, in Indianapolis, he was a son of David Ferris and Carol McDaniel, who survive. He married Heather Hicks in 2008 and she also survives.
Additional survivors include sons Austin Ferris, Lucas Ferris, and Dustin Ferris-Best; daughters Brittany Ferris-Best and Heather Ferris-Best; a sister, Leslie Ferris-O’Sullivan; a brother, Don Ferris; a stepfather, Bruce McDaniel; and special friends Charlie and Kathy Erwin.
Preceding him in death were a son, David Ferris, and a daughter, Stephanie Ferris.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Fillmore Cemetery.
Calling at the funeral home is for three hours prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Lucas Ferris Education Fund, in care of Hays Funeral Home.
