John Patrick O’Neill of Clayton died Monday at Avon Healthcare. He was 78.
Born July 27, 1933, in Indianapolis, he was a son of William Dallas and Marcelline Rose Longelin O’Neill. He married Sharon L. Druhot on Feb. 5, 1972, and she survives.
Mr. O’Neill was a heavy equipment operator, working on forklifts, and was a member of the Operating Engineers Union.
Additional survivors include sons Jerry, Steve, and Danny O’Neill; daughters April Scott and Brenda Harney; a brother, Ralph O’Neill; a sister, Delores Patterson; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Calling is from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield.
