Harold Eugene Sutton died Sunday at his Plainfield home. He was 70.
Born Oct. 2, 1942, in Plainfield, he was a son of the late Chester Beagle and Rissie R. Barnett Sutton.
Mr. Sutton was a 1960 graduate of Plainfield High School. He worked for more than 20 years at Allison's, retiring as a foreman. Most recently he worked 19 years as a salesperson at Pedigo Chevrolet in Mooresville.
He was a member of the Plainfield Kiwanis and Plainfield Masonic Lodge No. 653.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Sue Sutton; children Darryl, Kevin and Kim; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Leon; a sister, Sharon; stepdaughters Tammi Burns and Tricia Howlett; two step grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Hall-Bake Funeral Home in Plainfield with the Rev. Steve White officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
