Mark Andrew Nadelin

Mark Andrew Nadelin of Avon, formerly of Portage, Mich., died unexpectedly on Dec. 24 from an aortic dissection. He was 25.

Born Sept. 11, 1987, in Kalamazoo, Mich., he was the son of John and Patty (Horsfall) Nadelin, who survive.

Mr. Nadelin was a Purdue University graduate who worked as a technical writer for Safis Solutions and at Launch Pad Music as a keyboard instructor and recording engineer. He played many instruments, his favorite being the Hammond B3 organ. Mr. Nadelin volunteered his time to First Church of Deliverance & Recovery and Cityview Christian Center, both in Indianapolis, playing in their worship bands and providing IT computer support.

Also surviving are a brother, Jacob; a sister, Maria; special sister, Arlyn Sanchez; paternal grandparents Fred and Mary Nadelin; aunts Lin Nadelin, Pam (Roger) Letcher, and Nancy (Russ) Tinklenberg; many cousins and friends (including online friends from all over the world); and beloved cat Miles Davis.

A Celebration of Life service is 2 p.m. Dec. 30 at Life Church Indianapolis, 9101 W. 10th St.

Memorials may be made to First Church of Deliverance & Recovery (P.O. Box 22511), 1460 S. Belmont Ave., Indianapolis, Ind. 46211.

Conkle Funeral Home, Avon, is in charge of arrangements.
