Steven L. Terry

Steven L. Terry of Brownsburg died June 26. He was 61.

Mr. Terry earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and a master’s of actuarial science from the University of Michigan. He worked 29 years as an actuary, before retiring in 2003.

He was a member and treasurer of The Church at Avon, SBC, and performed volunteer work for Highland Lakes Baptist Camp and Metropolitan Baptist Center.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Terry; children Beth Terry Merchant and husband Jon, and Matthew Terry and wife Lindsay; granddaughters Sarah Merchant, and Avery and Piper Terry.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Max E. and Betty Lou Terry of Angola.

Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at The Church at Avon, SBC, 5075 N. Raceway Road. Graveside committal services will be 4 p.m. that day at the West Jamestown Cemetery in Fremont.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of The Church at Avon or to the State Convention of Baptists Indiana Disaster Relief Fund.
