Kristian Alexandria Ophof of Brownsburg died June 24. She was 16.
Miss Ophof had just finished her junior year at Brownsburg High School. She worked part-time at McDonald’s.
She was a member of Hope Community Church, had been a cheerleader throughout her middle school and high school years, and had recently begun coaching soccer.
Survivors include her father, Thomas Ophof; a brother, Kayden Ophof; a sister, Kendra Knaff; and grandparents Christina Allinder and Ron and Lois Migneault.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Lora Ophof.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hope Community Church. Interment will be at Sparks Cemetery in Pittsboro.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
