Allison Rebecca Mohney of Pittsboro died June 26. She was 18.
Miss Mohney was the daughter of Kenneth and Amy Mohney, who survive.
She was a 2009 graduate of Tri-West High School and was attending Ivy Tech Community College. An avid writer, she had written many children’s books and was currently working on a screen play. She also had a love for music and played the piano and flute.
Additional survivors include a brother, Spencer J. Mohney, and grandparents Billy and Dorothy Potter.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Pittsboro United Methodist Church.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg.
Memorials may be made to the Pittsboro United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund in memory of “Allie.”
