Paul V. Lutes died June 25 at his Indianapolis home. He was 72.
Born Dec. 4, 1936, in Alpine, he was a son of Rawleigh and Mabel Leadford Lutes. He married Carolyn Huber on June 9, 1963, and she survives.
Mr. Lutes was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked 30 years as a factory worker for General Motors before retiring in 1992.
Additional survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark C. and Alisa Lutes; a grandson, Carter Lutes; and a brother, Edison Lutes.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Harry Lutes.
Services were Monday morning at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment followed at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
Memorials may be made to the Mount Olive United Methodist Church, 1449 S. High School Road, Indianapolis, IN 46241.
