Jessie Thomas of Marion County died Tuesday in Jackson, Tenn. She was 93.

Mrs. Thomas served 31 years as librarian at the Avon-Washington Township Public Library.

She was a long-time member of Shiloh Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Larry; a daughter, Melenna Jane McDaniel; a sister, Phyllis Storm; a sister-in-law, Margaret Powner; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are 1 p.m. July 1 at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Calling at the funeral home is for two hours prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Friends of the Avon-Washington Township Library, 498 N. S.R. 267, Avon, IN 46123, or to the Jessie Thomas Scholarship Fund.
