Robert L. Lee of Plainfield died Tuesday. He was 84.
Born July 27, 1924, in Terre Haute, he was a son of the late Murtaugh and Lera (Bradbury) Lee.
Mr. Lee was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He graduated from Butler University and earned a master’s degree from Indiana State University. He was a teacher, coach, and guidance counselor at Ben Davis Junior High School for 30 years before retiring in 1986.
He was a member of the Danville American Legion and VFW Post.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth M. (Murin) Lee; and daughters Jill Westerfelhaus and Jan Lee.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home in Plainfield. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
Calling at the funeral home is for two hours prior to the service.
