Mary F. Long Acton of Plainfield died Tuesday. She was 92.
Born Aug. 1, 1915, in Brodhead, Ky., she was a daughter of the late George and Caroline (Cummins) Long.
Mrs. Long was a homemaker and a member of the Bridgeport Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons Jim and Robert Acton; daughters Betty Cummings, Judy Couch, and Sue Groce; a sister, Bonnie Denny; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Barkley Acton; a daughter, Elizabeth Powell; and a granddaughter, Peggy Carlisle.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, 106 Shaw St., Plainfield. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
Calling at the funeral home is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
