Dr. Jacqulyn S. Clements

Dr. Jacqulyn S. Clements of Plainfield died Sunday. She was 82.

Born April 12, 1930, in Bloomington, she was a daughter of the late Louis E. and Nadine J. (Wade) Starken.

She received her AB and PhD in clinical psychology from Indiana University, were she was a Phi Beta Kappa. She was in private practice for 25 years in Virginia Beach, Va., and Atlanta, Ga.

Her memberships included Plainfield Christian Church, American Psychological Association, Central Indiana Artists, and Plainfield Womans Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Cooper C. Clements Jr.

Survivors include a sister, Gloria Knoll; a nephew, Allan (Patty) Knoll; nieces Linda (Bill) Jones and Lisa (Pat) Eads; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.

Calling at the funeral home is from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
