Joe L. Edds

Joe L. Edds of Avon died Sept.. 27. He was 91.

Born Nov. 24, 1921, in Sullivan, he was a son of the late Ernest and Stella (Robertson) Edds.

Mr. Edds was a U.S. Navy veteran who retired from AT&T after 35 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane Baker of Kokomo; sons Joe Edds Jr. of Avon and Hubert L. Huber of Brownsburg; sisters Neddie Milburn, Betty Edds, and Mary Holtz; six grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Roberta.

Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N. Holt Road, Indianapolis. Interment will be at Floral Park Cemetery.

Calling at the mortuary is for three houses prior to the service.
