John C. Shelton died Monday.
He was a son of Martha Jean Worick, who survives, and the late Amos E. Shelton. Also surviving is a sister, Sally.
Mr. Shelton was a businessman, farmer, pilot, sportsman, and avid fisherman. He graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1961 and had also attended Danville schools and Indiana State University.
In later years, he enjoyed fishing in Suwannee, Fla., with his mother and friends.
No services are planned, but there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Suwannee.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg is handling arrangements.
