Leslie “Les” Carroll Roberts of Danville died Feb. 24. He was 72.
Born June 8, 1940, in Campbellsburg, Ky., he was the son of Leslie Clay and Valletta (Proctor) Roberts.
Mr. Roberts graduated from Danville High School in 1959 and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a grocery broker for many years, retiring in 2002. His memberships included Danville Christian Church.
Survivors include his children, Leslie Craig Roberts of Sanger, Texas, James Roberts of Zionsville, and Pamela Drake of Amo; a brother, Arthur D. Roberts of Seminole, Fla.; sisters Jo Ann Davis of Danville and Lois Wise of Avon; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. March 9 in Danville Christian Church, with visitation there from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Danville South Cemetery.
