Mary Lou (Hoye) Stein of Brownsburg died Oct. 16 at the Danville Regional Rehabilitation Center. She was 80.
Born May 31, 1932, in Detroit, Mich., she was a daughter of the late James Allen and Marie Bridgette (Robinson) Hoye. She married David Charles Stein in September of 1952, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Sheila (Charles) Smith, David (Janet) Stein, Douglas (Karin) Stein, Sandra (Gerald) Thoreson, Shelli (Rob) Robbins, and Stacy (Scott) Harris; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were siblings Kate (John) Patrell, James (Mickey), Gilbert (Ann), and JoAnn (Duncan) McLean.
Services were Oct. 19 at Conkle Funeral Home in Avon with the Rev. Stephen Heller officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Mich.
