John R. Fleming of Danville died Wednesday at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville. He was 91.
Born April 13, 1921, in Saylor Park, Ohio, he was a son of Charles Albert and Macy Hammond Fleming.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked 32 years as an internal grinder for Linkbelt before retiring in 1982.
Survivors include sons Gary Fleming of Danville, Robert Fleming of Indianapolis, and David Fleming of Holton; a daughter, Lillian Smith of Kentucky; stepchildren Jamie Akers and Mickey; a sister, Helen Rice; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services are noon Saturday at Baker Funeral Home in Danville. Interment will follow at Danville South Cemetery.
Calling at the funeral home is for two hours prior to service.
