Virginia M. Reed died Thursday at her Plainfield home. She was 90.
Born Nov. 15, 1922, in Bloomington, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Theresa Gruber Ginter. She married Carl L. Reed on Dec. 27, 1941, in Missouri, and he survives.
Mrs. Reed was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Plainfield.
Additional survivors include sons Monte L. Reed, Walter G. Reed, and Robin D. Reed; a sister, Betty Moore; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services are noon Monday at Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield with the Rev. Robert Rohrman officiating. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.
Calling is for two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
