Donald G. Neff of North Salem died Tuesday in Avon Health Care. He was 83.
Born Nov. 17, 1929, in North Salem, he was the son of the late Vernie and Loraine Woodrum Neff. He married Lois E. Dougherty on Feb. 12, 1949. They were married for 61 years before she preceded him in death.
Mr. Neff farmed all of his life. His memberships included North Salem United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons James David (Roxanne) Neff and Donald Gregory (Karen) Neff, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. Jan. 11 in North Salem United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ann Spahr officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, North Salem. Calling is for four hours prior to services in the church. Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, is in charge of arrangements.
